Jesse's Divide are one of the hottest and most exciting underground acts to conquer the Midlands’ rock & metal scene in recent years. With a flood of dedicated followers throughout the UK, they are now selling out shows at some of the area’s best-known venues.
Individually they have supported a number of the world’s largest rock and metal acts touring through their home territory, such as The Darkness, Dave Mustaine, The Levelers, The LA Guns, Diamond Head, The Answer and Acey Slade & The Dark Party. When their previous bands ended in 2012, Jesse’s Divide formed with a plan to write heavy catchy music and have a good time!
FUN FACT: Jesse's Divide were very nearly named "Malibu Thursday", after their favourite way to write new material while under the influence of a popular tropical rum-based beverage.
Jesse's Divide have released 3 EPs so far, consisting of:
- METADOME (2015)
- STRANGE ALCHEMY (2016)
- OTHER WORLDS THAN THESE (2018)
Jesse's Divide include an ever-expanding and evolving range of covers in their live show, including:
- The Seeker - The Who
- Tom Sawyer - Rush
- Danger Zone - Kenny Loggins
- Vertigo - U2
- No-One Knows - Queens of the Stone Age
- Sleep Now in the Fire - Rage Against The Machine
- Sharp Dressed Man - ZZ Top
- I Just Wanna Make Love To You - Etta James
- N.I.B. - Black Sabbath
- These Days - Foo Fighters
- Born To Raise Hell - Motörhead
Depending on venue requirements, Jesse's Divide routinely perform a one-and-a-half to two hour set, and are proficient at engaging an audience with interaction and humour. They also provide full backline, PA and lighting.
All material is written, performed and recorded by the band, and all writing credits are shared equally.
In addition to making music together, they have set up their own rehearsal and recording facility, Happy Ninja Media, which is a social enterprise supporting other local artists.
